Backyard to Battlefield airing on Discovery Military Channel - Check local listings for details
As the nature of battle continues to change, the US military is working on a new breed of tools – and they’re tapping the little guy for brainpower! Discovery Military Channel commissioned NAHB to produce a show that takes a fascinating look at these military inventors.In the pilot episode, we follow two teams as they develop, test, and build some pretty radical projects: the Howe Brothers are based in Maine and they designed the Ripsaw MS1, an unmanned track vehicle for use in combat; VECNA is based in Cambridge, MA and they built the Bear Robot that can locate, lift and rescue people in harm's way.Backyard to Battlefield covers amazing new technologies and tools that will improve our knowledge of the world around us, strengthen our nation’s defenses, and save our soldiers in the battlefield.

Based in a huge salvage yard in South Jersey, the White family travels the country rescuing immense Victorian sandstone mantels, 19th century porticos, great tiles, huge walnut doors, antique bricks, clawfoot tubs…you name it…if it’s old, great looking, and still has a use, the Whites want it!   With cranes, bobcats, wrecking balls, hammers, chisels, and nail files, they deconstruct what’s interesting, valuable and worth saving. So intent on what they do that they will camp out on the site so as not to lose a moment come daybreak – the Whites are madmen with a mission.

Smart Fix with Kristin Wells currently in production for HGTV
We’re all looking for innovative ways to update our home. Whether it is transforming an unused formal living room or creating a patio expansion, our expert host, Kristin Wells, helps homeowners identify and solve their remodeling dilemmas. The show focuses on multi-functional rooms, such as living rooms, kitchens and outdoor areas. Under Kristin’s tutelage, the homeowners are active participants in these projects, which can include installing a new tile backsplash, creating a bamboo ceiling surround or building a new dining room table.  The show takes on three to four projects per episode, which help make for a true overall makeover.
